Gasoline prices continue move down

Posted By on January 18, 2007

In keeping my ‘phone to blog’ setup alive, I’ll include a photo of one of the lowest retail gasoline prices I’ve seen for a while — $1.89. (diesel was a bit higher here, but was $2.29 off I-71 in central Ohio) According to what is being reported, this might not even be the lowest? National average pricing for unleaded is expected to move to about $2.00 per gallon.

That seems a bit pricey on the diesel. My last diesel fillup was $2.39/gallon full serve. But our gas prices haven’t gotten that low. $1.89! Perhaps we’ll see that in a couple of weeks…

Wow. Gas prices on the west coast are still very high compared to these prices. We are paying $2.38 per gallon for regular unleaded. Hopefully, our prices will come down sometime soon, too.

I paid $1.839 for RUG in Newark, OH, on Friday.

    $1.869 before discounts.

I did see $2.299 for diesel, though, on my way home, so there’s hope. I haven’t been to the Mt. Gilead Sunoco in a while, because my Golf’s been broken down, or I’d be hitting the B20. ;)
