Pete’s radio blogs are great, aren’t they? we were able to get sat-emails from dad, although it’s dark and hard to type on rough seas. they got charged for each character typed last year. Must have struck a great deal this year.

Sat phones are expensive, not much way around it. I’d like to see them use better noise suppression in their headset, but its great to get the voice report. Typing can’t be easy. (is your dad following the progress?)
