Test recording a little audio with the iPad while mobile

SiriusXM Radio’s The Spectrum (ch28) highlighted Jack Johnson on Wednesday afternoon and I just happened to be in the car to enjoy the broadcast. I’ve also recently installed a RAM Mount for my Honda Pilot and decided to test out the WavePad app and decided to send the mp3 audio clip to my nephew (both a Jack Johnson and Dave Matthews fan). Obviously recording through and iPad microphone isn’t going to offer great audio … particularly from a radio while driving, but I was surprised at how decent it did sound considering the conditions.

Ignore the pink bunny … it was something for Katelyn from her grandmother (forgot to give it to her for Easter)

What kind of mount did you end up with for your car? I was waiting for you to design one like you did for the laptop (martini table I think you called it!) You should blog about the iPod mount.

    •  Thanks Larry. Are you still driving a TDI?

I “just” installed the RAMM Mount for my Pilot … very simple, but the aluminum post is a bit wiggly and needs fastened to the center console. After that it was pretty steady. I may post on it this weekend but my chores plate is pretty full … hoping for good weather.
