The legendary Fats Domino dies at age 89

Posted By on October 25, 2017

Although Fats Domino was before my time, I do know my parents and grandparents played his music … such as “Ain’t That A Shame” and “Blueberry Hill.” He died Tuesday and was 89.

Most think of him as a 200 pound 5-feet-5 big smiling  guy with a flattop haircut as seen on his album covers. He sold more than 110 million records and help bring the R & B sound to popular music in the 1950s.

It is sad to see another musically great pass.
