A year has passed once again and our family is looking forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus this Christmas season. Brenda is busy decorating and shopping (with my “questionable” help), and I’m tinkering way too much working on a couple of silly little homemade projects. Perhaps one of these years I’ll get started on something earlier that is worth the effort?
One of our annual traditions that has drifted out of popularity in the age of social networks is the sending of Christmas cards and our annual Christmas letter to our family and friends. This year was one of generational change with the passing of Brenda’s mother (our last parent) and the birth of our first granddaughter, Annalyn. Bittersweet not to have had a parent alive to see another generation begin.
So if you’re not on our Christmas card list, here’s wishing you a Merry Christmas 2017 and click image below for our 2017 Corbett Christmas Letter (EDIT: also archiving Katelyn, Drew and Annalyn Oostra’s 2017 Christmas Card to us).
