Great night sky viewing of the moon, Saturn and Jupiter

Posted By on September 28, 2020

As usual, my night celestial bodies viewing in person is SO MUCH BETTER than trying to capture the beautiful night sky with an iPhone (and older 7 model to boot) … but that doesn’t stop me from trying. Here’s a view of the rising moon, with the faint speck of Saturn about a 1/3 from the right hand side and the brighter speck of Jupiter to the right of Saturn. For perspective, I included the trees, and pool house garage lighting of the new grandkids swing set at the bottom left (click for larger).

Speaking of grandchildren, Annalyn was under the weather this weekend but still enjoyed flying a kite and playing. Ellerie is just happy to be with her mom and dad.
