Checking your engine oil with Lubricheck … hopefully

Posted By on May 20, 2011

lubrichecklogoI’m posting Kickstarter link for a device designed to check the quality of engine oil. It is called Lubricheck and I’m hoping that someone reading this with engineering thoughts on how realistically accurate the device might be?

lubricheckfundingending110607I’m a mileage oriented oil changer, but with the price of synthetic oil, diesel oils and just plain quality motor oil … it might be nice to know “when” to really change the oil. (I’m really looking forward to the “diesel” version for cars, trucks and marine diesels …  1st run will be  for gasoline engines only)

Check out the promotional video below and leave a comment on their Kickstarter page if you want them to pursue the diesel version.

  • Well done … they are funded!

We are very excited to complete our final design efforts and start up production! Stay posted for further updates. We hope to see even more sign up, now that
we have a fully funded project. More support will mean more resources
    for a quicker project completion.
    Warmest regards,
    Charles, Suman and Chad
