Where do you do your best thinking? In the shower? #humor

SliverOfSoap_thumb[17]Wintertime offers longer days for reading and thinking and some of my better thoughts happen during my morning shower … although other thoughts aren’t quite so inspirational or deep …like, “Why can’t the sliver of soap be as invigorating as that larger new bar? Do soap manufacturers purposely make the inside of a bar of soap so we become so discontented that we replace it before it has fully been used?” Hm, perhaps my “better thoughts” don’t really happen in an early morning shower?

On the other hand, the shorter days and the nastier weather of winter does give me free time to work on indoor projects (Annalyn’s birthday project) or to “waste” a little time watching NASCAR drivers in our home theater. For some reason I enjoy the mundane “round and round” interrupted by a few intense moments, but maybe it just has something to do with the same reason lazy minds think about “slivers of soap?”
