Speeding up the hands of time with the barrel of a pen

I had trouble finding the little half-notch with the adjusting crown on my son’s new watch (the one that forwards just the date), so I improvised and used a soft rubber barrel of an old pen on my cordless drill to speed up the hands of time. Surprisingly it worked great. So for the fun of it, and in order to preserve my geek status, I’m embedding the video clip from my Palm Pre below.
By the way, after fast forwarding the date too far I did find the half-notch in order to adjust just the date making this moot.
