A leftover Christmas “Thank You” … and Robbie the Roborock

Map of basement Robbie the RobotLikely Brenda and I did not properly thank our kids for the over-the-top Christmas gift this year. They all have the robot vacuums in their homes and regularly rave and show us just what they are able to do these days. I think both of us thought we might eventually buy one since our first foray into a 2018 Deebot for the Florida condo. We knew from that early experience that it wasn’t really reading to tackle our home … but wow have they advanced.

This past Christmas, Taylor (Megan) and Katelyn (Drew) gave us  an impressive Roborock and I’ve been mapping our floors (basement map) and testing out the vacuuming at first. Roborock logoWe’ll hold off on the mopping until getting things a little be more in order. So far, our Robbie has been been fantastic (yes, we named him after Robby the Robot — likely you’d need to be of a certain age to remember that). Anyway, I want to post our thanks for such a wonderful gift.

Also … a leftover photo below as it seemed to be a appropriate “save” this less than perfect fix of Katelyn’s VW Tiguan’s antenna; we tackled it during our time together and saved her $2000!
