Music Monday: Simon and Garfunkel and the wonderful folk song, “The Only Living Boy in New York”

Posted By on September 30, 2024

While out and about, the 1969 folk music song by Simon and Garfunkel popped up on SiriusXM. I was sure I included it once before for Music Monday, but it has been a while so here’s “The Only Living Boy in New York” from 55 years ago. Wow!

Interestingly it was a Side-B song (‘Cecilia’ was the A side) and may have receive extra play (???) or it may have taken on a popular appeal all on its own? In either case, it is one of my favorites by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel to this day.
