Picking a cold, damp and breezy day to clean the gutters
Posted By RichC on October 29, 2017
Saturday chores consisted of climbing ladders and cleaning out the muck and pine needles from the gutters. Unfortunately I haven’t yet added a screen to the downspouts so they of course get block up as well … usually my indicator that is it time to clean them.
Since I boogerred up the elbows this time when grinding the rusted screws off, I use the excuse to run out and pick up a new one at the Home Depot along with some primers that I needed before winter (I’ll wait for a warmer day). A couple other miscellaneous items included some 8-minute gray epoxy (they were out of the normal 5-minute) and 4 gallons of RV antifreeze in order to close the pool. Brenda still wants me to keep it open as she prefers the backyard "blue water" color to a faded black cover.
While I’m at it, I once again can’t resist archiving a couple cute Annalyn photo from Katelyn and Drew … can she get any cuter (ani gif below)?
