Let’s start the archive of weekend photos with our immediate family selfies. Taylor, Megan and Gigi were over to cool off in the pool (before the strong storms hit on Saturday afternoon) while KDAE were up in Michigan for a extended weekend having summer vacation-ish fun. It would be difficult to find a much more beautiful place to visit in the summer, but staying in our backyard on a hot weekend wasn’t bad either.

After taking a few photos of the family I realized that we rarely see the back of our house and before the “struggling with disease” Red Bud tree completely dies, having a photo with it might be nice. I’m not sure what we’ll eventually replace it with just yet.

We had our annual community pool HOA meeting as well and although attendance wasn’t 100% (it never is), it was nice to chat with a few old and new neighbors. The Groseths recently listed their home (Zillow) after our neighbors sold … and they’ve already had several showings according to Marvin (one sounds serious). I’ve noticed additional street traffic on the Wyze driveway cam (spotting fawns everyday).

Besides enjoying the summer weather, I started a little home office cleaning and organizing … while testing the new Q1 microphone audio set-up on my old 2012 iMac that I can’t give up to possibly be a guest on a political podcast (more on that later).

BUT … while going through boxes, I’m a little sentimental spotting Father’s Day cards from my kids … AND Thinking emojia needlepoint made by DadH’s lifetime dental office manager and lifetime family friend, Delores. I wonder how she is doing?
