We been experiencing some strong wind and ocean waves that are too large for comfortable sailing, so Taylor and I have been working on boat projects. Both the solar vents have been installed and are working; the leaking port has been “sort of” fixed as there wasn’t an easy solution (the aluminum port was somewhat bent). I eventually recaulked with the liquid version of LifeCaulk … first time to use this. I’m not sure that I’m fond of this product.

Taylor for his part, spent the afternoon exploring and breaking in the old patch up Zodiac and new Suzuki 4-cycle outboard – it is amazingly quiet. As for the “breaking in” being a project, I think he had more fun than me?
