The music of Buffalo Springfield and triggered memories

Hot summer evenings and old music seem to go together, at least for me. This evening, while listening to my Jackson Browne Pandora station, I thought about Buffalo Springfield, a group which started careers for several talented artists and groups in the late 60s and has a few memorable songs as well (Stephen Stills, Dewey Martin, Bruce Palmer, Richie Furay and Neil Young). Although they didn’t stay together long, the music is iconic and is hard to forget … thankfully.
Here’s a live recording of For What It’s Worth (MP3) which brought back memories of being a kid in the summer of 1967.
