Highlighting some of what Taylor is doing in Batavia Twp. Ohio

Some of what I attempt to archive on MDB are the goings-on in our family for posterity. Taylor has definitely found his career niche and excels at socially interacting with coworkers and the citizens he serves in Batavia Township, Ohio.
In April it was putting on the Easter Bunny suit to the smile of children and parents and this month it was the grand opening of their “splashpad” at the community center (very impressive, BTW). His county’s local Clermont Sun newspaper published an article which included Taylor (archived PDF). It is wonderful to see how well Taylor fits in and has become an integral part of the community — and makes a mom and dad proud.
In neighborhood local news this past month, another long time neighbor who built about the time we moved to Cincinnati in the mid-1990s, has downsized, listed and sold their home to move to Tennessee. Their house and yard was definitely a lot to manage and considering their lake home was probably the preferred retirement place, the time was right. Still … changes are happening and I’m not sure I’m ready. ☹️
Also … I thought a flashback memory was in order:
Taylor connected with his friend Mike Agler when he was in town and they went bowling (which reminds me to schedule lunch with my friend Jeff). He just so happened to send me a photo of him “using my old bowling ball” from when I was on my ONU college bowling team!
